Mammen P. Zachariah M.D.
Mammen P. Zachariah, M.D., had been Medical Director of Interventional Cardiology at the Fort Lauderdale Heart Institute since 1986. Dr. Mammen Zachariah received his medical degree from Kakatiya Medical College in Warrangel, India, and did his rotating internships at University Medical College in Trivandrum, India.
He completed his Straight Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, where he was subsequently awarded his Fellowship in Cardiology, Cardiac Catheterization and PTCA, and has extensive experience with these highly specialized procedures.
Dr. M.P. Zachariah is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, and has been awarded Fellowships from notable cardiovascular colleges such as the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, as well as the American College of Chest Physicians. In addition, Dr. M.P. Zachariah serves on the prestigious Florida Board of Medicine, contributing his expertise on a statewide basis. In addition, he had been on several committees at Holy Cross Hospital, and is the immediate past President of the medical staff.
